EMCL FRIENDS ORGANIZATION

  The Friends hold their meetings 4 times a year; January, March, June, and September. It is on the 3rd Thursday of these months at 9:30am in the Carnegie Center of the Library. The dates for 2007 are:

      January 18

      March 15

      June  21

      September 13- to prepare for Octoberfest Sale.

      Election of Officers is held at the September meeting.

  BOOK SALES

    The Friends hold used Book Sales three times a year in the EMCL Book Cellar (Basement):

   * Easter Egg Hunt Day

   *4th of July

   *Octoberfest Day

    Please check the Library for Sale times and additional Book Sale Dates.

 FUNDS FROM SALES

  Monies from the Book Sales are used to support:

   Summer Reading Program (see Events & Happenings)

   Story Time (weekly)

   Library Book Bags for the Public

  FUNDS ARE ALSO USED FOR OTHER PROJECTS SUCH AS:

   Bags for delivery of books

   Magazine racks

   Book repair supplies

   Book covering materials

   Postage

   And a wide variety of other projects
