Even though the summer reading events are over, it’s not too late to sign up and win prizes for reading. Level cards can be filled up and turned in throughout the summer. We will have a summer reading wrap up party with drawings for the grand prizes in August and the more level cards you fill up, the better your chances are of winning a grand prize. Stay tuned for more information about date and time.

Also open is the library’s Annual Quilt Show. We have had many beautiful quilts brought in that are on display for your enjoyment. The quilt show will be open during normal library hours June 23rd – July 3rd: 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 10am-5pm on Friday and Saturday. The quilt show will be closed on Sunday’s – including the 4th of July.

The Friends of the Library are busy getting ready for their 4th of July sale. This year, the book sale will be on Friday and Saturday July 2nd and 3rd from 10am – 2pm. The pre-sale on Friday is for members of the Friends of the Library and memberships can be purchased at the door. Then on Saturday, the book sale will be open to the public.

The East Morgan County Library will be closed Sunday July 4th and Monday July 5th in observance of the 4th of July. Regular hours will resume on July 6th.
